Adding and editing your profile
How do I add to or edit the intro section of my Soul Journey of Life profile?
The Registration section is only an initial form of your profile. You can learn how to update your basic information such as your email address and phone number.
Some parts of the information on your profile will remain viewable by the public. An example of this is your profile photo, cover photo and First Name and Nickname, these will remain public to make it easier for others to identify you. Connections (friends/associates) and potential connections will find it easier to search for you and send you a connection request.
Your Details section will be visible to the public, however you may choose what information you would like to be shown in the Details section.
How to add or edit your Details section of your profile:
- Click your profile photo and a drop down menu will appear. Hover over Profile and you will see a submenu expand where you can select edit. You will be sent to the Edit Profile page.
- You can also reach the Edit Profile page by clicking the word Profile after clicking your profile photo and then look for the faint blue Edit Profile button to click to the right of the View Profile box.
- In the Edit Profile page, you can update your Details information (as well as the other descriptive tabs), change visibility settings, change your Profile Photo, change your Cover Photo.
To change your privacy level of who can see your information
- Follow the steps to accessing your Profile and click Edit. In the Edit Profile, under Edit “*” Information, you will see to the right of each field you have an entry in Change. If you click change, a small menu will appear offering the following viewing options:
Public
All Members
My Connections
Only Me
- You must decide which privacy setting you would like and then click close for each item (click here to understand more about each level of privacy). Don’t forget to click Save Changes in order to keep your updated changes.
- Follow the same steps for each entry you have for each tab mentioned below::
