The Endeavor
On Soul Journey of Life, our news feed is called The Endeavor. In The Endeavor, you can post content such as current events, popular topics, photos, video, and documents with which to share with the public, all members, your connections or just for you to see.
- To begin posting a topic in The Endeavor feed, simply click in the area that says “Write here or use @ to mention someone.” This will allow you to type whatever you would like (see terms of use for our guidelines on being respectful when posting public content).
2. You can add a photo by clicking the photo shaped icon which will allow you to drag a photo from the source folder of your choosing into the area that says “Drop images here to upload” or you can tap the same area to open your computer’s folder to the browser for the photo you wish to upload (click here for acceptable image formats).
Similarly to the steps for uploading a photo are the steps for uploading a video.
1. Simply drag and drop into the designated area the video you wish to upload or select it from your PCs folder containing the video and click open.
2. Once the video has successfully uploaded, you will see a green check to let you know the process has fully completed. Do not click Post Update until you see the green check as your uploaded content may not have successfully uploaded or be visible.
3. Once you have completed the post you wish to show in The Endeavor feed, be sure to select your privacy level by clicking the word Public (which is the default status). You can also select where you wish the post to be in, such as in a group you are in or on your Profile’s Timeline by clicking Profile next to Post in and then your choice of Profile or Group. Finally, click Post update or cancel if you decide you do not wish to complete the Update.
Note the steps for posting in groups is the same as posting in The Endeavor feed.
