Real democracy—government by the people, for the people—was not born in Europe or America. It flourished in Africa, from ancient times, as a natural expression of our communal spirit.

In his groundbreaking work, The Destruction of Black Civilization: Great Issues of a Race from 4500 B.C. to 2000 A.D., Dr. Chancellor Williams reveals the truth that Western history has tried to bury. He describes an ancient African constitutional democracy that predated Greece, evolving from a continent-wide framework that united Black people as one race under shared principles. This system featured councils of elders, elected leaders accountable to the people, and distributed power to prevent tyranny. Williams highlights how decisions were made collectively by respected assemblies from family groups, not centralized in one ruler. In societies like the Mossi kingdoms, leaders were chosen through voting and could be removed if they failed their people—true accountability!

Pan-African visionaries like Kwame Nkrumah, Marcus Garvey, and those behind the African Union remind us: United, we are unstoppable.

While Grandmaster Jay aka John Fitzgerald Johnson, along with thousands of supporters demonstrated his cause for justice from the streets of Louisville, Kentucky to Lafyette, Louisiana, suited, booted and well armed with Grandmaster Jay was not unnoticed by many who had something to say. In the annals of African American activism, few figures have stirred as much controversy and evoked as much fervor as Grandmaster Jay, legally known as John Fitzgerald Johnson. Over the years, abundant speculation has swirled about his true intentions and affiliations, especially given his bold leadership of the NFAC (Not F****** Around Coalition). This blog aims to dismantle the slanderous labels he has been branded with by critics and affirm his role as a genuine catalyst for Black empowerment and unity. Over the past years, a relentless torrent of accusations has tried to tarnish his image, labeling him an agent. However, despite the harsh scrutiny and the unwavering allegations, no concrete evidence has ever surfaced to support these claims.
